Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Tanumon believes in helping its customers as far as possible under this policy:

Product Description:
Pricing on the product is as it shows, however due to any technical issue, typographical error or product information received from our suppliers, prices of the product may vary. Tanumon will try to be accurate, however if you come across any difference in pricing on the tanumon website pre and post orders, we request you to contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. Tanumon shall then refund the difference amount within 7-25 working days of intimation. the mode of refund will be the same as at the time of placing the order. If tanumon comes across any such difference in pricing, it has all the rights to rectify the same or cancel the order. Check your bank statement thoroughly to make sure that you have received your refund amount.

Delivery of Products:
Please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to accept and must cancel. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.

We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is canceled or if additional information is required to accept your order. if your order is cancelled after your credit card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed back.

In the event that a non-delivery occurs on account of a mistake by you (i.e. wrong name or shipping address), any extra cost like re-delivery shall be claimed from the user placing the order.

Item Received in Damaged Condition / Manufacturing Defect or Wrong item:
If you have received a damaged item or if the item you received was not the item you ordered or if it was misrepresented on our site, please contact us by email within 24 hours of your receipt of the product. It is important that you save all packing materials as well as the item itself. When you reach us, we'll give you instructions on how to proceed. Customers are requested to share few digital picture of the returning product to help us examine the merchandise and provide quicker resolution.

We will express ship a replacement item at the earliest possible with no extra shipping cost to you, once we get the wrong item send by you. Also please note that in any other cases shipping cost & responsibility of sending product to us shall be borne by customer.

If the original ordered item is no longer possible then we will request you to choose an alternate item and express ship the same to you with no extra shipping cost to you. We will communicate with you about your wishes to make sure you will be happy with the exchange.  

If you do not want any alternate item then we will refund you in full with no deduction whatsoever. Or any other amicable resolution as mutually agreed with you.

Some Important Notes on Refunds/Returns:
At any point of time the refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.

Any product purchased during clearance sales or discount offers, will not be eligible for refunds/returns.

Return shipping duties & taxes if applicable will be borne by customers.

We do not provide any guarantee on Color/Fabric/Embroidery/Silk/Zari/sequen etc. Also altered saree/dress will not be exchanged or taken back under any circumstances. All goods are advised to be Dry Cleaned only, in case of fastening of colors and/or shrinking of Fabric in spite of Dry Clean, kindly note that we will not be responsible for the same as the Dry Clean process is not under our control.

There is a possibility that two outfits altered for the same customer with the same measurement may not give the same fitting. This may be due to the nature of the fabric & also different designers use different silhouette/fitting.

Shipping cost & responsibility of sending product to us shall be borne by customer.

Never send back a item without consulting with us. It's very important that you DO NOT send the item back to us until you have verified with us.

Always report any and all problems associated with a single order/package delivery at the same time. Be as specific as possible when describing the problem, as all returned items are examined for defects / variations.
Always return your items using registered airmail / courier as advised in our return authorization mail.

Please return within 7 working days of confirmation from our end, and with original packing & in original condition (please, no worn, washed, used or altered items). Please Ensure to include a copy of the invoice you received.

We will examine the garment you return, figure out what went wrong, and take immediate steps to prevent such problems from reoccurring.

Cross Border or, International Transaction Fees, if any charged by the respective bank from your credit or debit card will not be refunded. Please note these are hidden charges levied by your bank on you, and not by us. Customers must contact their bank for additional information on these charges

The VAT / Custom Duty / Local Taxes / Import Duties are borne directly by the customer as per local laws, to be paid at the time of delivery as advised by the respective courier partner. We will not refund any such charges, if applicable during order delivery.

As safe delivery to you is our responsibility, in the same way sending back safely to us is your responsibility. If something happens in transit and the package doesn't get delivered to us, we cannot help you. So make sure to send thru suggested postal service in our return authorization mail only and forward the details to us and keep the airway bill or postal receipt till it gets delivered to us.

Please mark the items as defective returns and not for sale.

Other Points to Note with Regard to Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 24 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been shipped or communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.

No cancellations are entertained for those products that are obtained on special occasions like pongal, diwali, valentine’s day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.

Tanumon does not accept cancellation requests for items that are under imported category.

Tanumon does not accept cancellation requests for the items which are undergoing any kind of stitching or customisation or tailoring.

Complain with Sizing and Styling of Stitched Items:
We believe our customers understand that even if they get something custom tailored locally, multiple sessions of trial and alterations are needed before the desired fit, pattern & look can be created. Hence altered saree/salwar kameez/any dress item will not be exchanged or taken back under any circumstances. So better to buy unstitched items from us and get them tailored by your choice. If you do not have facilities of alterations, we strongly suggest you to use standard sizes as given in our size chart as risk is more if you choose customization option.

If Error is Yours:
Customer will bear both ways shipping charges and in very rare cases cost of replacement fabric.

Not withstanding the above or any other provision, we are under no obligation to accept any returns or provide any replacements or exchange or store credit. We have sole discretion in deciding whether to accept the returns or not depending on the merit of the case.
